Not a member yet? Membership in AASCB carries a lot of benefits. Foremost is the ability to help shape the future of the counseling profession while assuring protection of the public.

AASCB offers three categories of membership:

State Board Members - appropriate for counseling licensure boards and their appointed board members. The membership fee of $800 includes membership for the Board Administrator and two appointed board members, a subscription to the organization's newsletter, The Liaison, invitations to AASCB programs and meetings, 2 delegate votes (one can be by the Board Administrator)at the Annual Business Meeting, and discounted annual conference fees.

State Board Membership Application (PDF)

Organizational Affiliate Members - appropriate for any national association or organization pertaining to counseling or having an interest in counseling and who subscribes, in principle, to the purposes of the Association. The membership fee of $800 includes membership for the Executive Director and two additional organization appointed members, a subscription to the organization's newsletter, The Liaison, invitations to AASCB programs and meetings, a nonvoting voice at the Annual Business Meeting, and discounted annual conference fees.

Affiliate Membership Application (PDF)

Individual Member - appropriate for (1) Any additional member of a Member Board or Organization; (2) Any former Delegate; (3) Any Member Board staff person; (4) and others with an interest in the counseling regulatory process. The membership fee of $100 includes a subscription to the organization's newsletter, The Liaison, invitations to AASCB programs and meetings, a nonvoting voice at the Annual Business Meeting, and discounted annual conference fees.
